“An incumbent usually starts their campaign telling voters about what he’s accomplished for the voters. Since Rohrabacher has accomplished virtually nothing during his 30 years in Congress, he’s funding a desperate smear campaign against Scott Baugh instead,” said Communications Director Matthew Cunningham.
“Rohrabacher has been in Congress for 30 years – 20 of those in the majority. He’s one of the most senior members of the House and gets nothing done for his district,” said Cunningham. “Rohrabacher hasn’t passed legislation since 2004. He basically retired 14 years ago – but he’s still drawing a taxpayer paycheck.”
“Rohrabacher’s priorities are Putin, promoting marijuana and traveling the globe on the taxpayer’s dime. The people of the 48th Congressional District need a Congressman who will focus on issues that affect their quality of life,” said Cunningham.
